KEY TAKEAWAYS FOR ONLINE COURSE CREATORS
Short Term Content –
Most social media tends to be short term content. It gets created and someone sees it within 24 hours or so and then it may not get seen much after that…. It does live on inside your account, but generally it doesn’t get much action going forward.
- Tik Tok
- Clubhouse
Use a social media tool with a “queue” function to re-post your list of content.
Long Term Content –
Long-term content can live for many years and continue to send you visitors and clicks. The search engines share content based more on the “top content” rather than the most recently posted content.
Feed the search engines with:
- Blogs
- Podcasts
- The #2 Search Engine – YouTube (one of my goals for the new year is to post more on YouTube)
- The #3 Search Engine – Pinterest
- Guest podcasting
